He’s never had a haircut.

He loves ice cream. But not mint chip.

He has beds all over the house – you just never know.

“He’s like a little gnome,” Ann Lewis says of her eight-year-old.

And he eats everything and lots of it. Dinner is hamburger, rice and eggs and he would take a second and third helping if he could. But has to watch his weight. “Nothing worse than an overweight Pekinese,” Lewis added.

Descendent from the dogs of Chinese emperors, eight-pound Wild Thang brought royalty back to the breed on June 21, 2024, as the newly crowned Ugliest Dog in the World.

It was Lewis’ and Wild Thang’s fifth trip and first victory in the annual contest at the Sonoma-Marin Fair, in Petaluma, California.
